Design Engineer

Position Description:
You will be responsible for designing mechanical and electromechanical parts, products and systems by developing and testing specifications and methods, and completing engineering projects by managing, organizing, controlling, and evaluating project elements.

Specific duties and essential results:
•Initiate and execute project objectives by studying design plans, engineering drawings, and reviewing specifications and requirements.
•Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.
•Initiate mechanical systems and products by designing and conducting research programs, applying principles of mechanics and materials; study customer requirements, research and test manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.
•Develop manufacturing process and assure system and product quality by designing and modifying equipment for fabricating, building, assembling, and installing components; design testing methods; test finished product and systems capabilities; confirm fabrication, assembly and installation processes. 
•Maintain systems and product database by collecting, analyzing, summarizing, and entering all such data.

Position Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
•Minimum of five years of broad based manufacturing experience.
•Proven Design Engineering ability.
•Extensive knowledge in designing individual components as well as complex assemblies.
•Knowledge of multiple materials including, but not limited to, Aluminum Castings, Aluminum Extrusions, plastics, sheet metal and tubing
•Experience in FEA
•Electrical system knowledge is a plus
•Ability to drive own Projects to completion
•3D modeling software experience (Solidworks preferred)
•Project management experience with prototypes, prototype testing, and production supervision a plus

Quality Engineer -- Manufacturing Experience Only

Position Description:
In this role reporting to the Quality Manager, you will participate, support and maintain our ISO9001 Quality System while simultaneously updating or writing process documents/work instructions, and conducting supplier audits at multiple locations. The Quality Engineer also leads corrective and preventive action programs on the shop floor and also at those of suppliers; identifies improvement opportunities throughout the organization and also with key suppliers; creates and implements inspection criteria and procedures; identifies inspection activity for product throughout production cycle; and writes control plans both for internal processes and also supplier components as required, among other duties.

 
Position Requirements:
•10+ years of hands-on quality control/manufacturing engineering experience within the metal fabrication industry

CNC Programmer / CAD CAM

Position Description:
In this role, you will effectively create, maintain and improve programming for CNC equipment (Laser, Chopper, Robots, Machining Centers and Turning Centers).

Position Responsibilities Include:
•Creates CNC programs for new parts for production and prototype runs.
•Maintains organized libraries of CNC programs, DXFs and other related files.
•Troubleshoots existing programs to gain improvements in quality and efficiency.
•Accurate set up and operation of all tool room equipment, including CNC machining centers.
•Able to write G code shop floor programs for CNC machining, as well as perform CNC 3D contour machining from CAD models using NC tool path software.
•Performs CNC and conventional machining applying most efficient speed and feeds, as well as most appropriate cutting tool selection.
•Assists in coordination of tools relating to the CNC equipment.
•Assists in coordination and re-ordering of consumable and repair parts for CNC equipment.
•Analyses and evaluates part runs and initiates routing change process where required.
•Assists in troubleshooting equipment problems with technicians.

Position Requirements:
•Associate of Science degree with coursework in CAD-CAM, 5 years of CAD-CAM drafting, CNC programming, CNC Machining

Position Description:

We are seeking a seasoned, detail-oriented individual to perform multi-level cost accounting responsibilities in a fast paced manufacturing, engineering and distribution environment. Position Description:

Serve as the liaison between IT and business end-users in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this challenging role, you will work with the business units to analyze business requirements and review/produce specifications for any new/change to technology applications. This includes working with the Technical Analyst and development team to ensure that they understand the specifications; working with training team to document system scenarios, identify roles impacted, and help develop a change management/training plan; and conducting business process modeling and generating applicable scenarios for the technology functionality testing team.

Responsibilities include:

•Conducting research to determine if solutions to business requirements currently exist within or outside the business unit, and if not, whether new solutions are feasible

The Electrical Engineer will assist with all electrical engineering efforts, design electrical components and systems, specify components and systems, test existing systems, and advise internal and external customers and other stakeholders on all electrical issues.
